The 47th Annual Meeting of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention will
be June 23-28, 2007, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The scientific program
covers important issues in birth defects research and education, from
the latest findings in basic research on molecular clocks to the use of
personalized nutrition in improving children’s health. Pittsburgh
is a technological leader and research hub. The meeting will be held at
the Omni William Penn Hotel, a historic landmark elegantly renovated for
the 21st Century traveler while retaining its 1916 charm. A very favorable
sleeping room rate of $135 has been obtained at the Omni William Penn
Hotel, and a limited number of rooms have been set aside for Students
at a reduced rate of $99 per night. See the Hotel
Reservation Request Information Page for more details.
The Annual Meeting provides a place
and time to catch up with colleagues, make new friends, network, and indulge
in discussions from philosophical to practical with established experts
in the field, new researchers, and students. It is also a place and time
to promote and express our scientific diversity as a Society of fellow
clinicians, scientists and science policy regulators from academic, industrial,
and government sectors.
