Reservations at Charleston Marriott
The meeting rate is $205 for single/double occupancy. This rate is available three days before and three days after the meeting based upon availability. Reservations are first come, first served and must be made no later than Friday, June 5, 2020 to secure the meeting rate. You may reserve your room online using the link below.

Government Room Rate
A limited number of rooms have been set aside for government employees at the prevailing per diem rate for single/double occupancy. In order to secure this room rate, you will need to reserve early. Historically, the government room rate sells out well before the reservation deadline date. Please keep in mind that your government ID will need to be shown when checking into the hotel. Student Room Rate
A limited number of rooms have been set aside for students at a reduced rate of $178 for single/double occupancy. This rate is available three days before and three days after the meeting based upon availability. In order to secure this room rate, you will need to make your plans early. Historically, the student room rate sells out well before the reservation deadline date. Please keep in mind that your student ID will need to be shown when checking into the hotel. You must reserve your room at the Charleston Marriott prior to June 5, 2020. All rates are subject to applicable taxes, currently 13.5%, the resort fee has been waived for those booking in the group block. The room rates are based on single/double occupancy. There is no charge for children 18 years and under occupying the same room as their parents.
Reservations can be made by calling 1.800.228.9290. Please make sure to tell the reservation office that you are a Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention meeting participant. Wheelchair-accessible rooms are available. Persons with special needs should inform the hotel when making reservations.
Check-in time is 4:00 PM, and checkout time is 11:00 AM. There are fees associated with a late checkout. Please discuss any late checkout arrangements when you make your reservation or when you check in to the hotel.
