Registration Information
Register for the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention Annual Meeting
Registration is required to attend the Annual Meeting. Additional registration is needed to attend the Education Course.
The Annual Meeting and Education Course will take place at the McNamara Alumni Center at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, Minneapolis, MN. Register early to take advantage of special discounted rates.
Please note that, in addition to three full days of science and networking, the 67th Annual Meeting registration fee includes:
- Daily morning and afternoon refreshment breaks
- Two evening poster receptions
- Warkany Tea and Awards Luncheon
- Trainee Bonus: Complimentary trainee professional development event

Government Purchase Orders
BDRP accepts government purchase orders for registration until the advance registration deadline of May 1. After May 1, purchase orders are not accepted, and registrations must be paid at the time of registration.
Cancellation Policy
The following policy applies to all cancellation requests:
- Requests for refunds must be received at BDRP Headquarters (HQ@BDRP.org) in writing.
- A $100 processing fee is charged if canceled before April 1.
- A 50% refund will be issued if canceled between April 2 and May 15.
- There will be no refunds after May 15.
Special Registration Types
Member Registration
The member registration rate is exclusively available to Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention members with current dues paid through the year of the meeting. If you are unable to register at the member rate, your dues payment may not have been received. Please log in to your Member Account Services profile to verify your membership status or to renew your dues.
The Society is pleased to continue to offer reduced meeting and course registration rates to Emeritus members of the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention.
Trainee Registration
This registration rate is available to undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other trainees who are members of BDRP or who have submitted a membership application. Please note that annual dues for Trainee Membership are just $20 USD and include electronic access to the Society's journal Birth Defects Research. Any student, postdoctoral fellow, or trainee who submits an abstract by the deadline (February 15) and is accepted for a poster or platform presentation is eligible to apply for a Travel Award (application deadline February 22).
Joint Meeting Registration
Individuals who are members of both the Society for Birth Defects Research and Prevention and the Developmental Neurotoxicology Society (DNTS) or the U.S. DOHaD Society may select the joint member registration option to attend both organizations' meetings at a discounted rate with a single payment.
